At first, I was a little disappointed in the menu selection. Only three sandwiches plus two daily specials? And then, no normal drinks? All a brother wanted was a diet coke but they . . .didn't carry coke or pepsi? What kind of restaurant was this?
As it turned out, a damn good one. And then I realized, how dare I presume I will know better what I want to eat than Chris Bianco, my favorite chef and purveyor of restaurants in the Valley? It would be like telling your favorite band how to play their instruments.
It makes much more sense, and works out much better in the end, if you just let them do what they do and sample the final product.
And the no coca cola, by the way, is a great call. They have an entirely organic alternative with no caffeine called China Soda that was more than satisfactory.
So if you're not sure, ask whoever is working for a recommendation and trust that Bianco will deliver.
