  • We had a large party and needed two highchairs, and even though Square Cafe doesn't take reservations they will make a "note" of your party's size and arrival time if you call a few days before hand, which we did and they were able to accommodate us. The hostess was great and worked with us to get us seated as soon as our whole party arrived. Our waitress was friendly and made sure we understood the surcharge on eggs due to the current avian flu shortage. She refilled coffee and waters in a timely manner, and provided the toddler with us crayons and an activity place mat which was very much appreciated. Everyone enjoyed their breakfasts and one member of our party really like that she could substitute the buttermilk pancake for a cinnamon swirl pancake with the square breakfast, for an additional charge. Also, the variety of sausage available almost made me change my order from bacon to the chicken apple sausage, oh well next time... My sunny side up eggs and home fries hit the spot, and my husband DEVOURED his Say Uncle Hot Sausage Hash. Overall, everyone at the table was pleased with their meals. We'll definitely be back, because I still need to try that chicken apple sausage.
