  • My dad arranged to have a baby grand piano delivered to my house as a present to my kids (it is a piano that my mom bought when I was in high school for me) and the request date was April 3 or 4th. I then get a call from Oasis (after I had to call them SEVERAL TIMES) and they said that delivery date isn't guaranteed. In fact, that date is the start date in which they have 1-10 days to deliver whatever it is they are supposed to deliver to you. So, I get a call eventually, saying the piano will be delivered on Sunday, April 14th. Talk about cutting it to the very last part of the promised delivery date. It's supposed to arrive between 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. Guess what folks - today is April 14th and right now it's 5:12 p.m. STILL NO PIANO DELIVERED. My dad paid about a little over $1000 for this service and this seemed rather high compared to others. Unfortunately I was not able to help choose the mover because I was so busy with work. I know that I got a quote to have the piano moved for about $500 from Las Vegas to Los Angeles from another piano mover several months ago but I had since lost the number. Well, apparently what you pay for gets you an extremely LONG wait time to have your item delivered. Not to mention, their customer service is non-existent. Their sales reps probably watched too many episodes of Boiler Room and all they care about is the sale. When you ask further questions for help or assistance, they get really short with you and can't really provide you with much help at all. Had I seen this rating on Yelp I would have told my dad to NOT choose Oasis Moving. Once they have your item you are at their mercy. I have absolutely no idea when or if the piano is coming today. I have two kids and I am the only one taking them to and from their sports events on the weekends. I cannot sit around waiting for Oasis Moving to POSSIBLY show up to my house when they say they are going to show-up - who does that? How unprofessional. I had to ask my boyfriend to stay back at the house to wait for Oasis Moving - fortunately he has a lot of work to do this weekend so it wasn't a problem. But God forbid you have to actually leave your house and do things because you would be worried if you missed this moving company. These people are really bad at what they do. I cannot believe they can get away with this. I feel really horrible for my dad because he feels so bad that the piano hasn't arrived yet. My dad is a retired Navy vet and doesn't make a whole lot of money. He was doing this as a nice present to my kids and myself. Shame on you Oasis Moving. Shame on you.
