  • MOLD!!! Came to the Phoenix area for a special event and noticed the outrageous hotel prices nearby (200-400 for basic hotels!). I found this hotel on Trivago and figured I would try it out. The photos showed clean vibrant rooms with everything you'd expect, but it was misleading!!! The staff was nice, but once we walked down the hallway to our room we noticed the cracks in the walls, chipped paint and a strange chemical scent. We thought it was due to cleaning. We took the elevator to our floor and the elevator sounded like it was grinding metal against metal. After the elevator got to our floor, the hallway still had a strange chemical smell. We enter our room and notice the ugly old carpet and upholstery. The sofa bed had some odd discoloration as if it were 30 years old. (probably is!) Next, we noticed the bathroom. It had a leaking bathtub with MOLD in the tub and on the shower curtain. The hotel was full so we couldn't get another room. Thankfully we were only in town overnight! The only thing that was nice where the TV's. Thats it. I will NEVER come here again!!!
