| - Two day reservation turned into an involuntary check out after one day. First night was uneventful and satisfactory. I awoke the second, left the hotel for business. Upon my return , I was apparently checked out by the staff. My room was cleaned out, and all of my belongings missing. I returned to the front desk to inquire the whereabouts of my personal belongings. Staff informed me that I was NOT a guest , And that my reservation was for one night not two . I tried several times to explain that I NEVER checked out, and they had clearly made an error in perceiving me as a checked out guest. I fortunately was able to produce a saved email confirmation with the dates that I had reserved the room. This defeated the false ideation that I was at fault . Staff finally admitted that an error did occur on their part but we're unapologetic. If it wasn't for this saved email, they had no record of my reservation. I was literally going to be kicked out on the street , or told to pay for another night.
I wanted to know how such an error could have occurred , but received no answer. I also wanted to know why cleaning staff had packed all of my belongings which were throughout the hotel room. After a lengthy time, my suitcases were located in the lost and found. a security officer was able to produce my suitcases, after a lengthy wait, which were removed from the room. Frustrated and exhausted, I returned to the room a second time only to find that my phone charger was missing from the hasty packing that the housekeeper had done . I was frantically trying to determine what else was missing. My bags were crammed shut from everything that was visible in the room , when they falsely perceived I had checked out. It was at this time that I found it was best to check out. I was compensated for the second night, and i did email management but i received no response nor apology. They had an extra charger in the list and found and did give it to me as i walked out, but this was little compensation .
I never expected to be involuntarily removed from my room, nor told that I did not have a reservation which I clearly did. I also was disappointed that staff lost some of my belongings , and was puzzled how they could have perceived that I checked out when all of my cases were unpacked and scattered throughout the room. I would advise everyone to pass on staying at his hotel . 1 star.
