Hyped out.
Sorry people this place is 3 star food at best with 2 star service.
Start off with service just to get that out of the way. I watched my server take 2 additional orders on my table over a period of 20 mins and didn't bother to refill my water until I asked him to. Server wasn't very helpful with explaining the menu at all. He seemed preoccupied with something else that was going on in his head. This isn't what you would expect from one of Aria's "famed" restaurants.
Food: SALTY, LACKED PRESENTATION, and NOT MADE TO ORDER??
We wanted to order the Bang Bang Shrimp salad but the dressing on the side... Well to our surprised the server said that the salad is actually premixed and therefore they can't put the dressing on the side... That's a bit weird I though?
We ordered the mixed Paella which had the lobster, muscles, shrimp, Sausage, and chicken and it was very average. The sausage tasted a bit funny and no one touched the chicken because it was such a poor cut of chicken with brown and white meat mixed in one cut rather than separated. I also thought the Paella needed to be coffee for an extra 5 mins - it was a little too soggy at the bottom.
The calamari was so sub average it wasn't even funny. You can have better Calamari almost anywhere try Cheesecake Factory. Lol
Tuna comes were the best thing we had. Tuna was fresh, but presentation was poor. If you have a plate that holds 6 cones don't only provide 3 and leave the other 3 holes empty...do something with the presentation that utilizes the other 3 holes with garnishing or something - no brainer??
It got to the point where we just didn't want to order anything anymore even though we still had an appetite because we were being let down with every dish.
Go to Javier's- if you're gonna spend the money do it somewhere with a track record that actually matches what you get. I'd never come back here, definitely not worth the $$$
