| - I'd been curious about Tradiciones for some time now and when two out-of-town guests flew in from back home, I thought, "Hey, take 'em around First Friday for a tad and then head on over to Ranch Market, because that's what, uh, anyone would do."
We got there as the restaurant seemed to be near closing, but they still accomodated us, which is more than I can say for a lot of other places. Immediately chips, two salsas, and guacamole were placed at our table. Each salsa definitely was spicier than most other places, which to me got a big thumbs up. However, the entrees were just alright. The camarones rice plate & chicken fajitas both looked great being served, but the dishes lacked much flavor, which was too bad.
The service was excellent and I'll just chalk this up to us being there right at the very end when the kitchen had already started closing. Definitely worth one more try to make a more accurate evaluation.
