  • Just a quick note on the Wynn buffet. On our recent stay at the Encore we received two free buffet passes. Normally I am not a "buffet" guy as I would rather go to Tableau than go to the buffet. My experiences with the Wynn buffet have been fine but never have I left saying I would go again. We went on our last day, which was a Tuesday so it wasn't a gourmet offering just the regular breakfast buffet. Most of the items we ate were above average and there were actually some very good offerings, like the green tea chia seed pudding, smoked corned beef hash, fried catfish and okra, the fresh made energy drinks amongst other items. There were still many mediocre and down right fails like all of the dumplings, the shrimp and grits and other items. However, as prices all along the strip continue to spiral upwards, the $23.99 price tag can certainly be considered a bargain when considering breakfast at Tableau and even my favorite, the Veranda at the Four Seasons far surpasses the buffet.
