  • T'sé quand tu trouves un petit bijou par pur accident? Ok, il n'y a jamais d'accidents dans la vie! Mais c'est vraiment comme ça que j'ai décuvert Aux Cinq Parfums. Ma mère et moi allions au Mikasa sur le coin de Sauvé et Acadie, lorsque j'ai manqué l'entrée du stationnement. Alors j'ai décidé de tourner le coin pour voir s'il y allait avoir une entrée par en arrière et en entrant dans ce qui avait l'air d'une allée, on s'est aperçu de ce petit restaurant perdu, dont la porte frontale n'a aucun signe, mais qui était "jammée" de personnes souriantes. J'ai tout de suite dit à ma mère "C'est là qu'on va!" Cuisine Thai simple, juste parfaitement assaisonée sans froufrou aromatisant. J'ai pris une assiette Tofu aux cacahuètes. Le riz était cuit à la perfection et les légumes croustillants sous une abondance de sauce aux arachides délicieuse. Ma mère a pris une salade aux fruits de mer qu'elle a décrite comme étant intéressante, et un rouleau printannier aux crevettes qui lui coulait de la bouche. D'ailleurs, ils ont une très belle sélection de rouleaux printanniers. Une belle petite surprise en ce samedi soir automnale! --- You know when you find a little treasure by accident?!!! Ok, there are never accidents in life! But this is how I have discovered Aux Cinq Parfums. My mom and I were heading to Mikasa at the corner of Sauvé & Acadie, when I missed the entrance for parking. So I decided to go see if we could go in by the back of the restaurant. As I turned into a little street looking like an alley, I saw this little place, without a sign in front of its door but jammed packed with smiling people. I said to my mon "This is where we are going!". Simple Thai cuisine, perfectly aromatized, without too much froufrou seasoning. I took a Peanut sauce Tofu plate. The rice was cooked to perfection and the veggies still crunchy under an abundance of a delicious peanut butter sauce. My mother took a seafood salad that she described as interesting and a shrimp spring roll that was melting in her mouth. By the way thy have an interesting choice of spring rolls. A nice surprise for a fall saturday night!
