Let's cut to the chase: China Way is OK.
Mixed feelings on my orange chicken. Hurray for all-white meat! A+++ to China Way for serving me meat that I can easily identify after biting into it. Not always a common thing with Chinese restaurants. The sauce was bland though. Not terrible, but not incredible. Not even spicy. Your non-Asian grandmother who complains about everything being spicy will love the orange chicken.
The Mongolian chicken actually impressed me, as it rivals the one served by my favorite Chinese restaurant over on the west side. Good balance of chicken and onions. Flavorful.
The wor wonton soup was the best I've ever tasted, but China Way needs to learn how to pack soup better for take-out, as 1/4 of my soup ended up in the bag surrounding its styrofoam cup, even though we held it straight and carefully.
This was my first experience with China Way, and it was good enough to give them a second chance.
