  • Ritche ordered my dress two sizes too big and then charged me upwards of $600 for alterations. The alterations department was horrible. They kept doing extremely shoddy work on my dress and I kept having to come in for fitting after fitting while they tried to fix the latest mistake. I had SEVEN fittings in total, including one 2 days before my wedding. They took in the sides of the dress by different amounts, creating a twisted bodice that bubbled out on one side. Nobody apologized or took responsibility for the series of mistakes. The alterations department also would not make my dress tight enough. It was a strapless mermaid dress with a huge poofy skirt, so it was crucial that the waist be tight enough to hold the dress up. It was so big at the bottom that I was able to walk up a flight of stairs on my wedding day in a dress that was supposed to be skin-tight all the way down to the knee. The material was bubbling and puckering, and the dress kept slipping down on my wedding day. I am so furious with Ritche and their incompetent alterations department. The dress was a constant headache and I would say it was actually the worst part of my wedding day.
