| - My husband and I wanted to check it out for a while so we went. He wasn't in the mood for drinks, so he settled with water as I ordered plain water and a prosecco. Our tap water was warmer than room temp and not good. How could they not add ice to the glass, beats me? He didn't like it, so he ordered sparkling water. When the bill comes to $86, it would be nice to just have a cold glass of water.
We ordered the small charcuterie plate, he, the pork belly and I the pappardelle. He liked the pork belly with the soft egg, but not crazy about the kimchi veggies. He said the basil oil was a "plate filler" since there was hardly any food on the plate. He also noticed there was a bunch of cilantro on there too for aesthetics. He thought the basil with cilantro was a little too much as both didn't go well with the pork. Perhaps basil and rosemary oil?
My pappardelle was ok-a little salty. The chanterelles were substantial, but overall, underwhelming. If you want sublime pasta, head down the street to Piccolo Forno-the best in Pittsburgh!
As we carried on with our night, my husband and I just didn't feel "right". When we got home, we both were, uh, let's say "effervescent/bubbly" and spent time in the bathroom.
I'm not sure what happened, but we can say we tried Cure, but won't be returning.
