  • I have been a patient of Dr. VanHelder's for over a decade. He truly cares for his patients, and provides thorough medical treatment that is hard to find these days. Other doctors nowadays come in with a computer tablet, barely look at you, check a bunch of boxes, and then leave. Not Dr. VanHelder- he takes the time to sit and listen to you- and he genuinely cares for your health and well being. I know a lot of other patients who have been patients here as long as I have- if not longer. I've also switched insurances three times, and this office has worked with me each time, and they've taken each insurance. The office is a little older, but it's still clean, and has a safe and comforting feel. In a world where everyone has their faces buried in their phones, and everyone is in a hurry, it is comforting to have a doctor who sits with you face to face and gives you the attention you deserve. I recommend Dr. VanHelder to everyone I know who is looking for a great family care doctor.
