I first became involved with AZSDR when I adopted a puppy from them. That was in May of 2013. He and his litter mates had been abandoned as newborns and left to die. Without AZSDR that would surely have happened. A foster was found that had a nursing mom and she became a surrogate. I was so grateful that someone took on the responsibility for them that I wanted to give back, so I began fostering. It's hard work and takes a lot of time and energy. Most of these reviews make me so angry, because they are flat out inaccurate. We've all had to deal with unreasonable people and it seems like for the most part they are the ones that post. I urge people to judge for yourself by really visiting the shelter and if you a giving person looking to make a difference, please consider volunteering! So many ways to be involved.
