I haven't been to the other locations but ...
If you want the 'flavor of the week' and you're planning to go after work to fulfill that craving - good luck. I suppose it depends how good the weekly treats are but I went about 4:30pm one day and they were totally out of all good cupcakes... They only had the boring chocolate/vanilla/carrot cake ones. BOO!
The second time I went I pre-ordered so I could get what I want. One of the cupcakes was for my friend birthday and with an extra fee they did her cupcake so nicely.
Apparently they are suppose to ask/tell you how to store your cupcakes if you're not indulging in it that same day. Sadly - I wasn't told how to store the cupcakes. Naturally I thought you should keep them refrigerated. WRONG!!! When I took it out the next day to make it room temperature the icing and cupcake were hard. The icing was so hard it tasted like you were eating lard.... I was totally disappointed.
Besides that, I have continued to come to this location to try their different flavors. So far my top 2 are Chocolate Mint & Black Forest (weekly treat). Overall the cupcakes are great to satisfy that sweet tooth but I think if they minimize the icing just a tad it would be perfect. I think there is way too much icing currently. Sometimes the minis are enough and are equivalent to an actual standard sized cupcake.
