  • I had a great experience at Bloor Optical. The sales staff can be a bit pushy to try to find you the right frame, but Dragana was amazing to work with and she really gave honest feedback about the frames I was trying. They are great frames, and I'm happy to be able to find a store in which to buy metal frames, as most places seem to carry mainly plastic. The cost was amazing - frames are fantastically priced around $150-200, and the lenses were half the price compared to Hakim Optical, and for a better quality, thinner lens! So, if youre planning to stop in at Hakim for new glasses, walk half a block east first, and go to Bloor Optical. Scratch-proofing is included in the cost of all lenses, which start at under $100 for the pair. I'm very happy about the service I experienced here, and will definitely recommend this location to my friends!
