  • We were looking for a dog and we wanted to save a life. We were new to adoption and went to get information. We fell in love with a 5 year old pit bull and tried to adopt him. Originally we had told the staff the dog would be an outdoor and inside dog. They explained to us why it was important for the dog to have access to the home at all times in Las Vegas. Without hesitation we said we'd go buy a doggy door and install it that day. The staff twisted our words by telling their manager/supervisor we had said the dog would be 100% outside. The dog had been there for the entire summer and he was most likely not going to get adopted. They denied us. I understand they need to do their due diligence but come on, do they not want pets to get adopted? How many people do they turn down?
