| - So the styling of the new Mazda CX-5 got us in, but the customer service left us running, particularly the management.
The dealership is beautiful. Very new and clean. I think they've been at this location about a year.
We looked outside on our own then sought additional assistance inside. Tyrone assisted us. He started by showing us the model on the showroom. Then asked us what was important to us in a car. He was then able to take us on a test ride and show us the features. We liked him, he was low pressure, and personable.
Afterwards we went inside and talked numbers. That's when it started. For a base model they were asking 28k +, you go online anywhere and it's about 23k. They have to pay for that new building and Starbucks Coffee machine somehow. But we understand, it's just business. They would not budge and negotiate. Then the sales manager comes over, Mike. He is the reason I up and left. He was not willing to compete with other Mazda dealerships and offer a reasonable price.
And on top of it all, he is insulting. He told us the budget and price we were willing to pay we should look at a used car. Hold up, what?!?!? I'm sorry but no.
I feel bad for Tyrone if Mike ruins every sale for him with his attitude and demeanor. He offended us with those remarks. What differentiates them from any other Mazda dealership is their customer service. The product is the same at independence Mazda, Keefer Mazda, where ever in the country.
The rubbed me the wrong way and I would never want to do business with them.
