| - Our department ordered "take-out" this afternoon to celebrate one of our colleague's resignation, and I offered to drive and pick up all orders using their Curbside Pick-Up. Prior to leaving my office, I called each order in and the lady even repeated them back to me carefully for accuracy - great!
I found them easily and loved their designated Curbside spaces marked with bright signs. I was immediately addressed and was asked to sit tight for everything to be completed. Okay - no prob. I had my A/C flowing, jams were going, and I could mindlessly surf on my iPhone.
I waited maybe 7-10min and 2 ladies brought out 2 large shopping bags of the orders. One offered to put them in my back seat which I welcomed with open arms. Bill was paid, tip was left, and I was on my way back to my hungry coworkers.
Since I'm OCD-Rainman, I organized all orders and put post-its on each order for simplicity. I stopped dead in my tracks when the colleague who's leaving us (lunch is in her honor) did not have any pizza or slice of Red Velvet. None. Not one crumb. I started to grind my molars.
The matter was quickly remedied as another peer offered to drive back for me and pick up the missing order while I called them. Was pissed bc they charged my debit for both items! Of course, I didn't check the bags to do a quick inventory before leaving, but I feel like I shouldn't have to at this type of place. McD's maybe, but not LGO. Holly answered my call and was very apologetic. She credited my debit card for the 2 items and promised when my coworker arrived, it wld be remade and hot/ready.
Co worker came back with the promised items in hand as well as a nice $20 gift card for me.
Things worked out nicely. I'm not going to hold this against them. BTW: My salmon (raw) salad was a very solid choice - ingredients worked well together!
