| - We worked with Kayvoughn in summer of 2011, on two transactions: selling our old house, and buying our new one. We were thoroughly impressed with him on both sides of the transactions: his recommendations and counsel repeatedly held up to our scrutiny, even in the toughest of situations (e.g when our emotional instincts on e.g pricing or neighborhood conflicted with his advice.) He was repeatedly right, and was also tactful when addressing areas of conflict or counter-intuitive advice (at least to us)
I also observed this in occasions where his advice went counter to his own interest ( or at least the commission structure)-- in our case, it would have been easy for him to do a quick sale on a new house, but he worked hard to make sure we had no buyers remorse, actively pushing us to see alternatives to our emotional favorite, most of which were cheaper and.or a harder transaction. This to me is a very strong recommendation:when I see someone acting counter to their short-term incentives, and keeping our interests foremost, it quickly instills trust.
I would not hesitate to recommend Kayvoughn, or use him in another transaction. We are very satisfied.
