When we decided to buy the car at the dealership, we specifically requested the car to be under 100 miles on the odometer and saw the sales person put that request on the vehicle locate form. When we came a week later to pick up the car, we went through all the paperwork and waiting and then found out the car already had 400 miles on it. We bought the car at the end because we really didn't want to waste our time to go through the whole process again but it just felt like we were forced into buying something that wasn't what we expected to get.
Additionally, we traded in our old car and left our garage door opener on the car by accident. We called the same day and asked them to get it for us. We were told they will get it and mail it to us. Two days later we called again and was told they couldn't find it. When then told them the exact location of the opener and they again said they will mail it to us. Then a week came by we didn't receive anything so we checked again. This time we were told that the car is at the body shop and that the body shop will mail it to us. Another week later, they finally told us they never found it. Now they are just "hands up - not our problem". We understanding it's our fault that we left something in the car we traded in, but we contacted them right away. They did not once apologize for not finding it. The way the dealership is handling their customer's need is very disappointing.
