I had high hopes for Lola's but came away disappointed. I had been craving grilled oysters for weeks, and headed to Lola's to indulge. I went during happy hour and took advantage of their discounted menu, opting for fried crawfish tails and grilled oysters. Sadly, the oysters weren't discounted. The fried crawfish tails were lackluster at best, tasting mostly of fried breading and something vaguely fishy. On par with your average fried shrimp from any fast food place. The grilled oysters that I had been craving were just as bad. They were tiny and overwhelmed by the garlic butter. For $25, I came away hungry and disappointed. I won't be making that mistake again.
