  • We get over to downtown Glendale a couple times a year and the crowds are always big at Haus Murphy's. A few times we tried getting in but the wait was too long. Last weekend we went to see the Glendale Glitters and the lines weren't bad, we were really excited to finally give it a try! We had all eaten German food before and were anxious to have a great German meal. Little did we know what an utter disappointment was about to be served to us by a lacking server. The German potato's were very bland, absolute flavorless sausages, the most blah meatloaf we've ever tried. The chicken schnitzel was by far the best item, however, it was just alright and not great. I can't believe that we had waited so long only to be so completely let down. The Italian restaurant a block away is fantastic, we'll return there the next time we're in Glendale for a meal.
