  • Oh man... if you haven't been here before you are missing out! The ice cream is made in small batches and it is amazing! I was told that super creamy ice cream is their goal and boy did they succeeded in that. Brandon the owner is super friendly and very welcoming when you walk in. He is clearly super passionate about the ice cream he serves and is a huge advocate of "try every flavor you want"! I tried 4 flavors even though I already knew exactly which one I wanted before I came in. I tried cookie monster, honey lavender, fat elvis, and the maple bourbon one. The cookie monster is basically a cookies and cream dyed blue but tastes a million times better. Cookie monster tastes a lot fattier than your normal cookies and cream (this is a good thing), is super creamy (since they blend most of the cookie into the ice cream), and it will dye your mouth blue (my bf got it and his lips and mouth were blue LOL). Fat elvis had a good flavor to it. I honestly can't remember the flavor profile because I was a little distracted by the bacon in it. I love bacon but it was chew and that was off putting for me. I probably would have preferred if the bacon was added after on top so that it was still crunchy. Together, the flavors were great but if you don't like chew bacon this probably won't be for you. Maple bourbon sounded like it would be really sweet to me but it had a nice non-overpowering maple bourbon flavor that was just the right amount of sweetness. I kind of got that as the general theme for the sweetness level of all the ice cream here. Just right. The honey lavender was what I came here for. It's not often that I have been able to find lavender flavored ice cream on a menu and it's not often that I have been able to find it on a menu that won't charge me a ridiculous amount of money to have it. I was trying to not get really excited on my way here just in case the honey lavender ice cream was a huge let down... It seriously made this hot day perfect. The lavender flavor was present and floral but didn't taste like I was eating potpourri. There was very few pieces of actual lavender flowers in the ice cream. This flavor was so light and airy. It was nice and it paired really well with the gingerbread waffle cone cookie piece they put in the cup with the ice cream (nice signature touch by the way! I love it.) I plan to come back to try the donut melt, which is ice cream stuffed inside of a glazed donut. They heat the outside and cool the inside of the donut and then stuff it with ice cream. I didn't have enough room in my stomach to get that and I feel like I completely miss out.
