Transtyle is a premium priced service that fails to deliver what they promise.
I made a prepaid reservation for pick-up at Sky Harbor. I called when my luggage appeared and was told the driver would pick me up in 3-minutes. I called 4-more times in the next 25-minutes and was told the same thing. Once the driver showed up nearly half an hour late; I had to drag my wife and my luggage 200 yards because the driver went to the wrong location and would not leave the car.
Once I got into the car; the driver had no idea how to get back onto the freeway and get to my house. He then went on to tell me that he was late because while waiting at the airport to pick me up the dispatcher called and told him to make a quick run off of the airport.
I wanted a comfortable ride home and was willing to pay the premium. The worst part is my home is about 2-blocks from the companies office and the driver had no idea where he was going. In the end I paid nearly twice what a cab would have been and forced to stand at the curb in the 108 degree heat.
I called the office the next day and asked to speak with the owner/general manager. I spoke with Dominique and she told me that he would call me back. I latter stopped at their office and I showed Dominique the 5-calls that I made over 30-minutes. In that I had not heard from the owner/general manager she offered to "make it up" the next time I rode with them. I told her that all I wanted was an apology from the person with the authority to fire the dispatcher for repeatedly lying to me. She assured me that he would definitely call me.
Well it is now three days latter and I have heard from nobody. Lesson learned; this company does not care about its customers.
