This is exactly what you want when you think "tiki"
Walking in feels like a Disney adventure. You're greeted by ominous drums and lighting when you open the first set of doors but when you open the second set, the greeters are super friendly.
At that goes for every one that works here. This place is a favorite with locals and there were plenty of hipsters but the entire staff was friendly and attentive. They were happy to make suggestions and answer any questions I had.
A mediocre punk cover band played the night I was there but it didn't kill the vibe. This is a fun place with well crafted drinks, kitschy decor from a Polynesia that never existed and cool crowd.
Parking can be tricky so uber in, uber out.
