Del Frisco's is the absolute best steakhouse in Las Vegas... Hands down.
The night before, we devoured the Beef Bowl Cut (25oz) bone in prime rib from Lawry's Prime Rib and we wanted to continue the good eats tour.
We ordered:
16oz Bone in Filet Mignon ($65) - Probably the most tender piece of meat I have ever eaten... Cooked medium rare, this behemoth was flavorful and practically melted in my mouth. I would definitely order this again!
32oz Tamohawk Bone in Ribeye ($90) - Prepared medium rare as well... This is from a Wagyu Steer and it was perfectly marbled. The meat was tender and robust with flavor. I also loved this choice! Definitely a repeat order.
Crab Cakes in lobster sauce ($17) - I've never had some much crab in my crab cakes! The lobster sauce was a hit as well. Our waiter suggested that we dip our bread in the sauce and boy did we...! I would order this again.
Potatoes Au Gratin - Large chunks of bacon, plenty of cheesy goodness over potatoes. A winner!
Supreme Creamed Spinach - Finally a creamed spinach that taste more like spinach that the cream. It was delightfully delicious and the perfect compliment to any meat.
Lemon Doberge Cake ($10) - The most sinfully delicious lemon cake you will ever have. The cake is light and fluffy and the lemon cream is light and refreshing. I went with a friend who hates desserts and much as he hates dancing. We were at a best friends wedding and she asked him to dance which he declined. How do you decline a dance requested by the bride whom you known for 10+ years? That's how much he hates dancing... And thats how much he hates desserts. After reading that, he polished off a whole slice of lemon cake by himself. Now thats a pretty damn good slice of lemon cake!
Overall I would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to Vegas looking for a steak... let alone a good meal. Although it was on the pricey side, it was worth every penny. I cant sing enough praise for this place!!
