  • Updating my review because Amy is no longer here doing nails, but I got my hair cut and coloured by Julia this week and I'm so happy with everything about the experience. The space remains secret-feeling, cool, powerful, airy and full of smart women and comfortable-with-themselves sweet men. My particular favourite is looking up at puffy green homemade clouds while I get my hair washed. Julia is awesome - cutting hair probably more than half her life she is chill, confident and excellent. Both the cut and the colour are exactly what I wanted even though I was bad at describing it. I also have to say, I love not having to chat all the time. She's friendly and easy to talk to but was also ok with just hanging out quietly doing her thing, letting me actually relax and enjoy an hour away from my life.
