| - We were disappointed to see that the Blue Jays were playing in New York the week that we were visiting Toronto so we decided upon a tour of the stadium. The experience was nice, with plenty of fun facts and views thrown in.
After the tour my friend and I decided to attend the next night's CFL game because decent seats could be had at decent prices. We spent $35 a piece for lower level seats on the side of the end zone, and being from NJ (the home of the Giants and Jets), this seemed like a steal. Of course, however, I do realize that the CFL is a completely different animal than the beloved NFL in the US.
The game was ok. I actually found myself more amazed at the open retractable roof and the glowing changing color lights of the CN Tower, which we could see by looking up from our seats.
One major thing I noticed is that the concessions here were much more varied and dare I say it, cooler, than in the stadiums in our area. They had ICEEs, Pizza Pizza, real ice cream freezers (a person could actually scoop it out), and something that looked like a cafe market if you wanted a fresh salad.
Try to come to a game if you're in the area, it would be a nice evening.
