  • This review is based on one visit at 2pm in the afternoon, so maybe not the best time of day for top notch food. Was in the area and had been wanting to try this place based on other reviews. Ordered a cup of seafood gumbo that was priced at $6.50 for happy hour and a oyster Po'Boy sandwich which was about $13. Received a small cup of gumbo with several tiny pieces of shrimp. The flavor and heat level were good but way overpriced and disappointing overall. My wife's chicken and sausage gumbo at least had lots of meat. Po'Boy was equally disappointing and overpriced. Came out not assembled so you had to do that yourself. Bun was cheap light weight bun probably store bought. The sandwich included about 6 or 7 tiny oysters, one tomato sliced in half, couple pickles and some shredded lettuce. The sandwich itself was only about 7 inches. I could hardly taste the oysters for the thick cheap bread. If you want a good Po'Boy try "Flavors of Louisiana". Their Po'Boy is outstanding.
