| - I love this place. I come all the time. I watch movies. I gamble. I used to take my kid to Kids Quest when she was younger (about 7 years ago) so ya I'm a long time patron. Today I experienced the worst customer service I have ever seen there by an employee that goes by the name of Travis, at Fatburger.
I decided to take my kids to see incredible 2 in IMAX. I drove all the way there because I wanted a burger and remembered Fatburger was there. We stood in line for about 5 Min. No eye contact. No greeting. No urgency. Zero multitasking skills and they weren't even close to busy. I don't know if Travis wasn't trained properly, doesn't care about his job, hates his life , or all of the above. I waited tho because I wanted the burger. I watched him make a milkshake with no care in the world I was standing there. A simple "good evening. I will be right with you ma'am" would have been plenty to keep me from feeling ignored and unwanted. We nOw had 20 Min to eat before the movie and it was my turn now. Yay! He finally finished the one milkshake he had been working on for like 5 Min, called for the gentlemen who ordered it, called him again , then proceeded to walk it to the customer at a table. Travis stood facing me while he was calling for the milkshake guy. Then Travis walked passed me 2 times to deliver the milkshake. No eye contact still!!! None. No words. Nothing!!! How do you stand a foot from your customer , facing them and not say "Hello. I'll be right with you". Travis finally Looked at me. Then the lady behind me, who became extremely inpatient because , yes , she was waiting forever too. She walked up to the register, passed me and stood next to me with her empty cup out and he took her cup. Normally I don't mind stuff like that. It's fast. But he failed to say yet again, one word to me. So now I'm furious. I've been skipped at this point and ignored for what seemed like an eternity (6-7 Min)
I walked away as to not make a scene with Travis because me and my kids were starving!!! Movie was getting closer so we settled for Rubios and Capriottis. We were greeted immediately with kind words and smiles! Customer service food was not was I wanted but we ate and enjoyed our movie.
It's unfortunate that Travis at FatBurger was working tonight. My place of employment has impeccable standards so that miserable man would have a smile , say words and move with some sense of pride in his job and self.
