I've been to Factory Girl a few times since it opened. The décor and staff are fantastic. I have never felt rushed or ignored. I've always enjoyed their wine suggestions. The first time I went I had one of their pizza's (dough made fresh every day). It was fantastic and quite large. I ate leftovers for lunch and dinner the next day.
The second time I went I had one of their specials. Lasagne with garlic bread and salad. The Lasagne was made fresh that day and others at the table ordered it as well. They were all very impressed. However, mine was cold. It had the potential to be very good but due to the temperature it was a bit of a disappointment. My BF had the "Charlie's Spaghetti", it was also not very good. Almost tasteless pasta with no sauce, or oil.
That being said, both times I have been with large groups. Everyone (other than the two cases above) enjoyed their food and both times a nice sampling of the menu was chosen.
We will definitely go back and might even make it a regular place to visit for some good no-fuss, fresh, home-made meals.
Don't be deceived by the seemingly small dining room/bar in the front. There are two very large dining rooms and a patio at the back as well. I can't wait to try this place in the summer.
