  • I have been here twice now, the first time I was satisfied with the experience. I was reading the other negative reviews earlier today and thought to myself hum, I didn't think it was that bad. After today though I 100% agree. The people who work there ( at least on Tuesday mornings) are indeed rude. The lady taking consignments essentially threw the paper work on the counter with a "here". I shrugged it off. I had a large bag of fall/winter clothes ranging from never worn pajamas, jeans, a few long sleeve thermals, jackets, a used sweatshirt ( which I got here used last year) and used jeans and pajamas. I knew not to bring stained/dirty/ heavily worn clothes bc they obviously wouldn't take them. That being said I go looking around and found some things to purchase ( along with a cat hair covered set of flannel pajamas which I did not buy). I get to the counter to find out they are offering 1.35 store credit or 1.05 cash. I was suprised, but figured they just wanted an item or two. I asked what they were taking and it was a pair of new pajamas, used pajama bottoms (but not the top), the old used sweatshirt( that I mentioned before) and a pair of new jeans. The same rude older woman says " everything else had stains". Now I'm annoyed because I know that was a lie. I told them i will just take it home (in my mind I am thinking keep your dollar) and I would either sell it myself or donate to a good cause. As I'm checking out, the cashier ( a different person) after scanning the tags literally rolls the clothes up in a ball instead of folding them ( in all my life even at other consignment and goodwill stores never had this happen). So I said how about we fold them. She stood there waiting for me to pay as I folded half the clothes before she decided to do her job. Needless to say I won't be coming back to this location and I suggest you try another, more highly rated kid to kid even if it is a further drive. Or just go to Ross next door for similarly priced new items and friendly customer service.
