We left our 5 month old border collie mix for the weekend with Chandler Dogs. Upon our return he was happily exhausted. Prior to boarding over night, we had him hang out there a few days prior for a few hours. He seemed to enjoy it. Walked right into the back with the other dogs without even looking back at us.
There are two main benefits about this place that makes it unique and helps ease an owner's mind: 1. It is completely cage free. You don't have to leave knowing that you are sentencing your pet to prison while you go on vacation; and 2. It's open 24/7! I ended up dropping off our pup (The Dude) at 5am, which was so convenient.
In addition to all of this, the staff there was very nice and set our minds at ease. A day or two after his stay, I received an email report card with a picture of my pup and a little description of what he did while there - who he played with and how much he ate. There was even a short video taken of all the dogs. I think I spotted The Dude in there once or twice having a great time.
The only downside was that he was a little stinky and had some dirty paws when we got him back. Nothing that a quick bath couldn't fix up. He proceeded to sleep for the next couple of days. Anyone who has a puppy knows why it is so great to have an exhausted pup. We will definitely be back again!
