We've only been here once, but would love to return. We had a great experience overall. We visited on a Friday night, on a holiday weekend (and Fiesta Bowl weekend) and it was raining. The place was packed. It because it's so big, the tables seemed to turn fairly quickly. We were told it'd be an hour for a table for 2. They take your cell # and text you when your table is ready. They also have pagers available (for those of us whose cell service is extremely poor there! Note - they had wifi for guests and we were able to get service but it was splotchy.)
We snagged seats at the very crowded bar for a drink and an app while we waited. There must have been 7 bartenders on duty - which was awesome. The three women on our end of the bar regularly checked in with us for more drinks, etc. (Note - drinks are good, and they have some of the NOLA staples like Hurricanes. Drinks ran about $10-11 a pop for their specialty cocktails.)
We were called to our table in less than an hour. Our server appeared right away and explained the menu to us and made recommendations. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was hot and tasty. We held back a bit so we could save room for dessert, which also did not disappoint. They have a lot of options for your sweet tooth. Will definitely return as there were numerous menu items we did not get to try.
Here's what we did have: Voodoos and Swamp Things (drinks); Lump crab and spinach dip; filet (w/green beans and potatoes); stuffed jumbo shrimp; baked mac n cheese with crab; and NY cheesecake with strawberry.
