Let me start off by saying that I'm a vegetarian and therefore no expert in Cajun food. That being said, I thought this place was great.
The options for me were obviously limited. I went with veggies over angel hair pasta, cooked with some Cajun spices. It was delicious, although I wasn't raving nearly as loud as the others at my table, who were eating some sort of shrimp over cheese grits... they loved it and talked about it all night. The other vegetarian offering was fettuccine alfredo, which you can never go wrong with.
We shared a few bottles of wine and the others passed around the oysters as an appetizer, which I hear was very well done. The place has got a nice New Orleans atmosphere (especially if you are a Saints fan) in a smaller restaurant that would be perfect for dinner for two.
I'd give them 4 1/2 stars if I could, and my pals may have gone higher. If you're looking for a nice restaurant that is off the strip, reasonably priced and delicious (especially if you like seafood), check this place out!
