  • My boyfriend recently had corrective knee replacement surgery with Dr. De Comas and he is beyond happy with her and the staff at The Core Institute. He had been waiting for 6 months to receive surgery through the Phoenix VA and spoke with multiple doctors there who seemed perplexed by his complicated medical history. When he was finally referred to the Core in the beginning of September, we didn't know what a blessing it would be. After 1 appointment with Dr. De Comas she diagnosed the problem, told him exactly what she needed from him as far as testing and promptly scheduled the surgery. She explained it to us in a way we could understand and was with us every step of the way. This was his 8th surgery on his knee, after 5 at UCLA and 2 in Atlanta, he feels this was the best treatment he has received in regards to appointment wait times, post-op & pre-op experiences, availability and helpfulness of all nurses and the knowledge and professionalism of Dr. De Comas. We are so grateful he was referred to the Core and appreciate everything this facility has done for us.
