  • We stayed on the bottom floor and we had friends with us who stayed on the 3rd floor. The room it self wasn't too bad. When we got to our room, the first thing I noticed was someone had put a plastic bag over the smoke detector (which I then brought it to the attention of the front desk clerk). The only real complaint I had about the room, was that the AC unit was right by the head of the bed and it was so loud that every time it kicked on it woke us up. So we didn't really sleep that well the first night. The second night I just turned if off because I didn't feel like dealing with it. When we went upstairs to visit our friends room, once you got in the hallway it smelled like cat pee and cigarettes. It was such a nasty smell. Luckily their room didn't smell like that at all or we would have had to go to a different hotel. Also, there never seemed to be a clerk at the front desk when we would go down there. I find that kind of odd that there wouldn't be anyone there. The reason I give this hotel 2 stars is because of cleanliness.
