I want to talk about what went well at the house of Blues instead of focusing on the bad.
The host got us a seat at the bar because we where short on time (Micheal Jackson One tickets). Eventually Jason was our bartender. I say eventually because he had to come from the other side of the bar when he noticed us failing epicly to get the attention of Jillian, the bartender working right in front of us avoiding eye contact at all cost. Jason was attentive and friendly. Everything Jillian was not. My wife tried to get her attention 5 times with no response. I assumed it was loud and my wife doesn't have a commanding voice. So I tried twice before she just walked away. My voice is very commanding. She didn't speak to us until we where almost complete with our meal. I think the reason was because her name was on the ticket and she thought she was getting a tip... Haha not this guy. I tipped Jason in cash.
The dinner ended with Jason talking to the manager to provide me with a 25% military discount on my meal. Overall a great experience. Jillian should probably find a different occupation if being friendly is not something she likes to do.
The show is starting, Jason is awesome, Jillian is not. House of blues is awesome and so is the food.
