Received 2 free tickets for the show (Love my mom for being a local) so I went out for an evening of fun. I would say this is my kind of event: drag queens, singing, and heavy makeup. Entering into the venue was a bit crazy, but it only took so long because everyone is given the chance to take a photo with a drag queen that performs in the show (which can later be purchased). I would recommend buying the photo just because it is memorabilia, but it really is a waste of money.
When the real show started it was very engaging. I was a bit confused because the show is Frank Marino's, yet he wasn't hosting. I wish there had been some sort of disclaimer about that; not that I didn't love Brian Keith because he was amazing but some people may actually want to attend the show simply because Frank Marino's name is on it.
Anyways, the performances were very good! All of them seemed extremely well choreographed and rehearsed. Lady Gaga/Madonna and Shania Twain/Katy Perry were by far the best, but all were great. Overall it was a fun show and I think anyone over the age of 18 would enjoy it, regardless of their likeness to drag queens.
