A friend became ill at Duckworth's and passed out. I paid the bill and went to go sit with a friend, and wait to go to the hospital. While... the EMT's were still working on her, the manager felt it was more important to accuse us of not paying twenty dollar bar tab (that had already been paid) than to ask if she was ok. He then accused her of going to the bathroom and doing illegal drugs, and wanted to know what drugs she was on.
He later banned her from the restaurant because, and I quote: "I don't want anyone in here that may be on medication." Apparently he thinks he has the right to demand to know what medication you may be taking in order to overpay for food in his restaurant.
Even after it was explained that she most likely had a reaction to a new medication that she was prescribed he continued to state that he didn't want anyone on medication in his restaurant and that he had the right to know what medications anyone eating there was taking.
I have never witnessed a manager in a restaurant act the way he did, and will never give this place a dime of my money again. If you believe in privacy and being treated with respect you won't either.
