| - I generally move every year to a new place and this is the worst apartment ever. First, remember, you can call them as much as you want; AFTER being a resident, rarely someone picks up, and rarely gets vm returned.
Blonde lady (leasing agent) in late 30s who came back from maternity leave...
End of Dec. 2016. I wanted to see the actual unit first before signing so I talked to her. She said no, I have to sign the lease beforehand... Then, when she realized I was about to walk away, she goes "you can sign the lease and see the unit. If you decided you don't like it within 7 days, we can cancel it at no charge". No, lease does not mention this. I asked and she said "oh don't worry, I will honor it and put a note". Later next week, manager says nope. Oh I mentioned that my renter's insurance almost denied coverage because this particular unit had 2 broke-in incidents last year. She goes, "it happens all the time everywhere and that's nothing" or sth like that. Well, a month in, kidnapping case and they lived a few buildings over.
Manager...
I told her that the room looks nothing like the one on the website and that it is far from "luxury". She goes "if you look on the website, we don't mention luxury, because we know it's 40+ years old apartment". As of May 18th 2017, website still says luxury. Can I paint? Nope. Oh, tennis court is cracked up. "We will look at it". Hot tub dirty as hell. "It's natural". One of the bolt outside the unit to my floor is loose. "We will send someone". nope...
Wendy...
She was nice during the approval process. When I was signing, she was nowhere to be found. So many things that I mentioned were not carried over (like having two cars) to the blonde leasing agent, I almost couldn't get the place (which I could have cared less at that point). May comes. Left a message for noise complaint. She calls back, rude as hell. She thinks I am being rude; no, first, I couldn't tell who you are if you don't mention where you are calling from! She says, what do you want? She doesn't want to accuse other tenant, and I understand that, but she just keeps making it harder and harder. All I want was to be able to sleep for more than a couple hours. On other instance, emailed her multiple times; no response whatsoever. I had to go to see the manager to get an answer.
Aforementioned are just a few. A LOT more issues but I'm done. STAY AWAY! They must be smoking sh*t here. They take your money, do nothing with it, and continue to be an a$$hole. STAY AWAY
