It is a nice non smoking, non gambling hotel with complimentary valet. It is rated as a five star hotel which I disagree with. Five star hotels should have no bad rooms and be maintained to a higher quality level.
The hotel is close to the train tracks and the cheaper rooms face them and even on the highest level of floors you can be awakened from a dead sleep as they pass through.
The carpets in the room hallways are dirty, stained, loose and buckled and need to be stretched or replaced.
The ac in our room never went below 72 no matter what temperature we set it at. The window vent was loose in our room causing a constant low roaring sound. Maintenance did address both of these issues and they were both greatly improved.
The tub drain is on the wrong side of the tub. You have to get in tub to open and close the drain.
Housekeeping is meh, they never cleaned the sinks or tub the whole time we were there. You also only get one bar of soap that you must share between the separate shower, tub and dual sinks. Same goes for the other toiletries and you only get one set for your entire stay. We had to request extra soap and toiletries from the front desk.
Overall I like the location but the hotel is a bit worn and should have a four star rating.
