| - This place has gone downhill since my first visit 18 years ago!!! What an embarrassment this last visit was to your location. I had 5 visitors in town from Illinois and had never ate at a Lawry's and I was extremely excited to have them experience the place that I once loved and talked highly of. After this last visit last night, I will never recommend nor take anymore guests to your location! I was in tears at this dinner reservation we had last night, and our awful server was lucky my boyfriend's father insisted on tipping your awful server! I had asked if I can have bone in my cut and he said that cost extra because that's the "Diamond cut"....yet my boyfriend and his mother got a bone in their "Lawry cut" just the same cut I ordered, except they did NOT want the bone and I requested one but had to pay extra for it??? Why? Because I wanted it??? What a terrible birthday dinner this was for me. He never asked if we were celebrating anything, which we were. A Mother's Day for 4 Mother's, my boyfriend's college graduation and MY BIRTHDAY! We had an awful experience and luckily our server got a generous tip from my boyfriend's father because I didn't think he deserved anything at all. I am extremely pissed and embarrassed with the entire experience! My guests asked ME after we were served our salads, "why is this called the spinning salad?" I said well he spun the salad in the bowl and didn't tell y'all what he was doing because he obviously didn't care that y'all were watching. Geezuz I want to throw "F" bombs all over this review, but I'm trying my best to hold it together. I just can't fathom we spent $500 on such a disgusting experience! What has happened to your location? I used to visit frequently and ever since you added men servers that place has gone to junk. The last few times I had men servers and they all sucked! And of course I got another one last night! Of course!!!! The men show no enthusiasm, no friendliness, nothing! They all seem like they hate that job! Why did I not put down specifics in my reservation?!?! Oh, well I guess that wouldn't have mattered anyway, because I did specify celebrations and no one cares about that either....
I really wish I can have my night back and would have never gone to your restaurant, I couldn't even sleep last night because I was boiling! What a sad, very sad place this has became. I'm so disgusted. So much for being a "VIP" member. What a joke...
