| - I got my suitcase fixed at this location, the wheel was broken and the airline broke the handle. Being an expensive $400 suitcase, I did not want throw this away, instead visited this quaint little shop sandwiched in a strip mall on Vic Park Avenue, close to Finch Avenue East and Van Horne.
The sign says "Shoe Repair" but they repair and sell suitcases too.
Believe it or not, there is actually a Mr. Sako, the owner, his daughter also works with him. My suitcase was fixed as good as new, they installed the handle I had to order from Japan (since my suitcase was purchased there) and it was good as new.
The only problem I would like to caution yelpers about is to allow plenty of time. My ten day repair time stretched six weeks, as he does not repair suitcases onsite, has a specialist who is subcontracted the work.
All in all, a pleasant experience, would have awarded 5 stars + if the delivery was on or close to the promised date
