  • Someone left these chocolate cake truffles in the office and I decided to take one. They are round chocolate balls with brown powder surrounding it. I popped it in my mouth and my jaws dropped. It was SO good. I'm very picky with my brownies but these are easily one of the bests I've had. When you bite into it, it crumbles into little pieces. For lack of better terms, it kinda looks like dirt- but extremely delicious dirt. Another coworker of my walked into the office pantry and popped one of these babies in his mouth- his eyes lit up and jaws dropped as well, "What the hell are these?! They are SO GOOD." I was glad someone else shared the same genuine reaction. One day I decided to stop by Cosmo to pick up some for my family so they can try them- I've been telling them how amazing these chocolate cake truffles were. They were $6.49 for 3 little truffles... whatever, still worth it. But when I tried them this time they are solid hard- the brownie isn't soft and crumbly as the first time. Then I realized they take them out from the fridge as they sell them to keep them fresh. :( Okay so what I'm trying to say here is you have to try these chocolate cake truffles but when you purchase them they come straight out of the fridge so make sure you wait till the brownies are room temp before you eat them because it taste the best when they are soft. :)
