  • This is my second time here and we stay here when visiting the kids.The first stay was better than this one and i would have probably given about a 3.5 start then. The place is modern and the room was comfortable but a bit small.. The bad....The shower drain backed up and you were promptly standing in about 2 inches of water so after you get out of the shower you have to rinse your feet off to remove the soapy water you were prevoiusly standing in. Called the hotel to ask them to fix..They did not,and we stayed here 2 nights so they had ample time. Second night-same problem with the shower so i call them again...and then we try to watch some TV before bed..Tv doesnt work.Dammit! Call them at 10pm and they say they will send someone up the next morning. So much for that. Go to the buffet with the kids and grand kids the next morning and they want almost full price for a 2 yr old and a 4 yr old. That does not make sense-they barely eat enough between the 2 of them to cover one childs plate at denny's. I think i will take my $$ somewhere else next time, and not recommend this place to others. The Good.. I found the bed to be comfy,albeit way to many pillows! I counted 11 total and 7 of them were just for looks! The bathroom amenities were nice. Casino was nice and spacious and did not reek of cigarettes. The drinks at the Salted Lime were very good and the chips and salsa were delicious. Never used the pool but it looks nice. I think this "resort" needs to take a long hard look at itself and make sure everything in the rooms is functioning properly,and that they do not overcharge for simple things like kid's prices at the buffet if they plan to compete with the glitz and glamour of the strip!
