By far, the worst experience I have ever had with a company. Rented a car at the Pittsburgh Int'l Airport to be dropped off at Norfolk Int'l airport. Within the three days that the car was in my possession the battery died twice, the brakes produced a screeching metal on metal sound, and the air conditioning stopped working in the middle of the trip even though the car did not register as overheated (we couldn't have stopped anyways because the car wouldn't have started without another jump). Despite many calls to Hertz "roadside assistance" throughout the 48 hours of trouble, there was absolutely no help. Also, none of the calls made to contact management ever went through and the voicemail was conveniently full. Upon returning the vehicle to our final destination of Norfolk Int'l Airport and issuing our complaints, the manager explained that each location of Hertz has no contact with one another and cannot issue any reimbursement for a vehicle from another location. I would not recommend anyone to use their services, especially if you are planning on dropping the vehicle off at another Hertz location.
