  • I recently went on a trip to Japan where I got stuck up about Japanese food. Sorry 'merica, but even the best Japanese food here is just average food there, lol! Anyway, my favorite curry spot when we were in Tokyo was CoCo Curry. It's a chain there, but the curry is SO good. The Tonkatsu is SO good - juicy, crispy. Everything SO good. So when I got home to Vegas, I was on the hunt for comparable curry. After trying curry at maybe 2 or 3 spots, I decided to check out Zen Curry. Not gonna lie, I was slightly disappointed. The curry didn't have the UMPH I remembered from Japan and the tonkatsu wasn't nearly the same. HOWEVER, it is good! Don't get me wrong, its probably the best Japanese curry that Vegas has to offer. The curry had good flavor and a really nice smooth texture. The service was aiight... the prices were decent. I would recommend this place! My fav thing that we tried was the takoyaki... YUM! Crispy, creamy inside, bursting with flavor. Try it.
