  • I was pleasantly surprised with this place. I never heard of it before, but we came here for the Vegas Rocks Hair Metal Awards and it was a good time. It's a few miles from the strip, on the other side of town. The place is clean, new, large and somewhat modern. The service was good. Parking was very easy out front, and we felt our car was safe because there was a strong security presence on the grounds. Kind of a laid back atmosphere without all the hassles of walking forever just to get anywhere, like at the huge casinos on the strip. And a great view from the floor to ceiling window in our room! It's a fine place to stay if you have an event in the hotel, otherwise, I'd say it's more for people who like to just hang out and gamble without all the hoopla of the strip.
